ThalThallus pale fawn, smooth, dull. Ascomata numerous, crowded, sessile, simple, 0.5–1.0 mm long, 0.2–0.3 mm wide, almost covered by the thalline margin; lips closed. Proper exciple laterally carbonised. Hymenium 100–120 µm thick, inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, transversely 8–10-locular, 24–36 × 7–8 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: No lichen compounds detected. |

Uncommon on bark in eastern Qld and N.S.W.; also in South America, India, the Philippines and Japan. | ||
